Illinois Valley found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-40 punch to the gut against Reedsport last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Illinois Valley.
Meanwhile, Glide had enough points to win and then some against Oakland, taking their matchup 22-7. The success made it back-to-back wins for Glide.
Glide's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Illinois Valley's loss dropped them down to 2-2. We'll find out if Glide can add another positive mark to their record or if Illinois Valley can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Glide's step.
