After three games on the road, Tensas is heading back home. They will take on the Delhi Charter Gators at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Tensas suffered their biggest defeat since November 17, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Delhi 68-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tensas in their matchups with Delhi: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Delhi Charter, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-42 loss to Delhi last Friday. While losing is never fun, Delhi Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Delhi is ranked 123rd).
Tensas has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Delhi Charter, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Tensas came up short against Delhi Charter in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 55-45. Can Tensas avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
