It was close but no cigar for St. Louis Catholic as they fell 21-24 to Iowa on Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
The loss dropped St. Louis Catholic's record to 1-5. The win bumped Iowa's record up to 2-4.
Next week St. Louis Catholic take on Washington-Marion at 7:00 PM. St. Louis Catholic's defense better steel itself: Washington-Marion are averaging 41.33 points per game. Iowa will look to defend their home turf against South Beauregard at 7:00 PM. South Beauregard took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Iowa's good fortune.
