 Lake Central  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 19  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in seven consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Marist beat Oak Park-River Forest 2-0  last Saturday.
 The  2-0 doesn't show just how dominant Marist was: they took both sets by at least nine points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11,  25-16.
 Lake Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record  this season. As for Marist, their record now sits at 5-1.
