After flying high against Shepaug Valley on Monday, Newtown came back down to earth. The Nighthawks took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgefield Tigers on Tuesday. Even though they lost, the Nighthawks' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
