Bath's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed by the Van Wert Cougars to the tune of 53-23. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kendra Deehring, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazzlyn Florence, who put up eight points.

Bath's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Van Wert, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Bath didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-36 loss against Jefferson on the 16th. As for Van Wert, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-23 defeat against Wayne Trace on the 17th.
