After losing to the Loudoun County Captains the last time they met, the Park View Patriots decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Park View walked away with a 43-34 win over the Captains on Wednesday.
Anna Helstrom continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Kyra Hurley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Park View's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Loudoun County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.
Park View's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th. As for Loudoun County, they will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Broad Run presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Captains in Virginia (the Spartans are ranked 75th, while the Captains are ranked 283rd).
