DSST: Cedar is 6-1 against DSST: College View since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The DSST: Cedar Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the DSST: College View Wolves at 6:30 p.m. DSST: Cedar is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62 points per game this season.
DSST: Cedar fought the good fight in their overtime game against DSST: Montview on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 79-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 14-4 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, DSST: Cedar got top-tier performance from Semahje Kalanda, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 boards. That's the most points Kalanda has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Stophel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 19 rebounds.
Even though they lost, DSST: Cedar smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, DSST: College View unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 63-54 to DSST: Green Valley Ranch.
DSST: Cedar will have to contain Isaias Tomita as he made an impact in DSST: College View's last game. He dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten steals. Tomita's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Sosa, who posted 12 points and four steals.
This is the second loss in a row for DSST: Cedar and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for DSST: College View, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. DSST: Cedar hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62 points per game. However, it's not like DSST: College View struggles in that department as they've been averaging 68.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
DSST: Cedar came up short against DSST: College View in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 67-58. Can DSST: Cedar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
