Baseball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Will Rogers College

While Summit Christian Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Will Rogers College Ropers with a sharp 14-8 victory on Saturday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Nathan Antle was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Connor Rosemons was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Antle wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Summit Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. Summit Christian Academy is a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Summit Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. Will Rogers College is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
