The Pennington Tigers will take on the Dora Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pennington comes in on three and Dora on six.
On Tuesday, Pennington needed a bit of extra time to put away Holly Pond. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Broncos.

Connor Timmerman spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up 17 Ks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, Colton Walston was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Jesse Amos was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Dora made easy work of Tarrant on Thursday and carried off a 21-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Cooper Martin and Carter Reid did most of the damage at the plate: Martin got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Reid went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Reid is becoming a predictor of Dora's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 7-9 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Martin, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4.
Dora pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pennington, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
