Newton (Covington, Ga.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Morrow (Ga.), 40-0, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Rams led 27-0 at the half.
Newton expanded its lead to 34 points entering the fourth quarter. NHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Zach Sullivan.
Sullivan was the top performer for the Covington school. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown.
The Rams came in allowing an average of 21.3 points per game this season.
