It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Northeast Jones Tigers can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for Northeast Jones seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in October of 2023.
Northeast Jones' loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6-2. As for Pass Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7-2.
Northeast Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pass Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sumrall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sumrall's favor is that they have posted big goal totals in their last three contests.
