After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Verdugo Hills, Poly was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Arleta Mustangs. The win was some much needed relief for the Parrots as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
ISABELLA NAVARRO spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits.
On the hitting side, JACKIE GALLARDO was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. JAZLYN GALLARDO was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
