Ary Gooden made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Connally got a massive performance out of Tylar Thomas, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Thomas continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played.
