The Carolina Forest Panthers lost against the Conway Tigers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Carolina Forest fell 53-42 to Conway. Carolina Forest has not had much luck with Conway recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Carolina Forest still got an impressive performance from Daniel Allen, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season.
Carolina Forest's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-10. As for Conway, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carolina Forest will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Sumter at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Conway won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Myrtle Beach at 3:45 p.m. on January 13th.
