Softball Recap: Hidden Valley Wins Going Away Against Klamath Union

While Hidden Valley put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Klamath Union. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Pelicans with a sharp 11-0 win. Considering the Mustangs have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Harley Hipps was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Aubree Schmidt was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Hidden Valley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive contests.

Hidden Valley's record is now 12-2. As for Klamath Union, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Hidden Valley is taking a road trip to square off against Brookings-Harbor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Klamath Union, they will welcome Henley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
