The Louisburg Wildcats lost against the Baldwin Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Louisburg took a hard 60-42 fall against Baldwin. While losing is never fun, Louisburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Baldwin is ranked 29th).
Baldwin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from TALAN TORREZ, who scored 15 points. The contest was TORREZ's fourth in a row with at least ten points. JOEY ZIEMBICKI was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Louisburg bumped their record down to 2-2 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Baldwin, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Louisburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eudora on January 4, 2024. Baldwin will be home for the holidays to greet Spring Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spring Hill is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
