They managed a 23-18 victory over Master's Academy on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pineapple Cove Classical Academy also won the last time the pair played on Thursday.
Master's Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carissa Hennessey, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and four steals. Hennessey is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Grace Holderman, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Pineapple Cove Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Master's Academy, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Pineapple Cove Classical Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Cocoa Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cocoa Beach is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Master's Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Real Life Christian Academy at 9:00 a.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Real Life Christian Academy is ranked 648th, while Master's Academy is ranked 651st).
