Coral Glades's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's 11th consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They blew past the Hollywood Hills Spartans 20-0. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won seven games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Coral Glades didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Noel Thomas led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. She is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games she's played.

Coral Glades pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 0.0 points on average over those games. As for Hollywood Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Coral Glades will venture away from home to challenge South Plantation at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Jaguars 3.3, the Paladins 14.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Hollywood Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
