The Walker Wolverines suffered their closest  defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of KIPP Atlanta Collegiate by a score of  68-66. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Walker came into the  match with a sizable advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 143rd, while KIPP Atlanta Collegiate is ranked 392nd).
 Despite the loss, Walker still got an impressive performance from   Moustapha Diop, who  dropped  a double-double on 29 points and 15  rebounds. Diop is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: he's  posted at least eight every time he's  taken the court this season.  Noah Pederson was another key contributor,  scoring 20 points along with six  rebounds.
 Walker bumped their record down to 12-7 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walker will  challenge Therrell at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Therrell is coming into the  game on a three-game losing streak. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they will head out on the road to  take on  Archer at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
