Belle Chasse won the last time they met up with Wright, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Belle Chasse made easy work of Wright on Friday and carried off a 35-6 victory. Followers of Belle Chasse probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Belle Chasse's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 21 first-half points. Meanwhile, Wright couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. The Belle Chasse defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The win bumped Belle Chasse's record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Wright's record to 1-4.
Belle Chasse are packing up and heading on the road for their first away match this season. They face off against Easton next week at 7:30 PM. Belle Chasse will be strutting in after a victory while Easton will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Wright, they will face off against Sci Academy. Wright have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Sci Academy are surely hoping to exploit.
