 Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Nehemiah Thomas, who  went 7 for 14  to rack up 15 points and seven  boards. Those 15  points gave  Thomas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maury Bing, who  posted 11 points.
 Hunter-Kinard-Tyler got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  K Singleton out in front who  put up 17  points and six  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Xavier James, who  dropped  a double-double with 13 points and 13  boards.
Ridge Spring-Monetta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record  this season.
 Ridge Spring-Monetta has already played their next game,  a  68-63  win against Horse Creek Academy on the 11th. As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  an  83-79  victory against Blackville-Hilda on the 11th.
