The Bohemia Manor Eagles will challenge the Harford Tech Cobras at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bohemia Manor 3.3, Harford Tech 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Last Monday, Bohemia Manor made easy work of Edgewood and carried off an 11-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lyla Wescoat (2027) made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That stolen base was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kylee Bergman (2025) Salisbury, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Elizabeth Marcum (2027) was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
Bohemia Manor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Edgewood only posted a batting average of .167.
Meanwhile, Harford Tech has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.4 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 10-1 to Patterson Mill. The game marked the Cobras' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Harford Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lyric Strong, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
The win made it two in a row for Bohemia Manor and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Harford Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bohemia Manor hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .376. However, it's not like Harford Tech struggles in that department as they've averaged .350. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bohemia Manor came out on top in a nail-biter against Harford Tech in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cobras turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
