Doral Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.
Doral Academy found their leader in underclassman Ashley Martinez, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Martinez has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Angelina Deleon, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Doral Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for West Broward, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Doral Academy will be playing at home against Flanagan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Flanagan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. West Broward does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
