The Clinton Arrows lost against the Madison Central Jaguars last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Clinton fell to Madison Central 49-43. Clinton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lauren Sutton was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with three steals for Madison Central. That makes it three consecutive games in which Sutton has scored at least a third of Madison Central's points. Another player making a difference was Kienzle Smith, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Clinton has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season. As for Madison Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-13.
Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Madison Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
