The Odyssey Institute Minotaur scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. Everything went their way against Kingman as Odyssey Institute made off with a 49-25 win. The win was just what Odyssey Institute needed coming off of a 62-38 defeat in their prior match.
Among those leading the charge was Shelby Hunt, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahmaria Flowers, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Odyssey Institute is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season. As for Kingman, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Odyssey Institute will be playing at home against San Tan Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. San Tan Foothills is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Kingman, they will head out on the road to challenge River Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (River Valley is ranked 276th, while Kingman is ranked 283rd).
