Archbishop Stepinac's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Monsignor Scanlan. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Archbishop Stepinac.

Meanwhile, Mt. St. Michael Academy hadn't done well against All Hallows recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Mountaineers put the hurt on the Gaels with a sharp 14-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mountaineers in their matchups with the Gaels: they've now won three in a row.

Mt. St. Michael Academy got a great performance from Andy Perez as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Perez also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Mountaineers are 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-10 otherwise.

At the plate, Marcus Fiallo and Nathan Pimentel did most of the damage at the plate: Fiallo went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Pimentel went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Fiallo has become a key player for Mt. St. Michael Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-10 otherwise. Yanthony Diaz was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Mt. St. Michael Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.

Mt. St. Michael Academy's record now sits at 5-11. As for Archbishop Stepinac, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
