Pinon might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-45 to Many Farms, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Pinon has struggled against Many Farms recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Pinon's loss came despite strong showings from Aliyah Tsedah and Avril Sage. Tsedah scored 21 points along with four steals, while Sage scored 12 points along with five assists and four steals. The game was Tsedah's third in a row with at least ten points.
Pinon has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Many Farms, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Pinon will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Many Farms, they will head out on the road to face off against Hopi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
