Cedar Creek extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Aamir Dunbar. The Pirates walked away with a 43-33 win over the Holy Spirit Spartans on Friday for which the team can thank Dunbar, who rushed for 293 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 140 rushing yards.

Cedar Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Holy Spirit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Creek will welcome Oakcrest on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,096 yards in their previous games. As for Holy Spirit, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delsea at 6:00 p.m. on October 9.
