It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Moore Mustangs ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 78-77 photo finish over Harrison County. The win was just what Moore needed coming off of a 93-56 defeat in their prior contest.
Moore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dayvone Harrison led the charge by scoring 26 points along with 3 steals. Dashawn Hall was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Moore's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Harrison County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Moore will head out on the road to face off against Fairdale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
