Delhi won the last time they faced Waterford and things went their way on Friday too. The Delhi Hawks pulled ahead with a 50-49 photo finish over the Waterford Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Gayle, who posted 13 points. Gayle is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Izaiah Sanchez, who scored ten points.

Delhi is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Waterford, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Delhi will be playing in front of their home fans against Stone Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waterford, they will take on Le Grand at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Waterford is facing Le Grand at the right time seeing as Le Grand is stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
