The Mansfield Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Mansfield Legacy Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Mansfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 58-26 loss at the hands of Skyline. While losing is never fun, Mansfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while Skyline is ranked 125th).
Meanwhile, Mansfield Legacy pushed their score all the way to 60 last Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Rock Hill by a score of 62-60. Mansfield Legacy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mansfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Mansfield Legacy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Mansfield was dealt a bruising 61-29 defeat at the hands of Mansfield Legacy in their previous meeting back in January. Can Mansfield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
