Furr unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 13-3 to the Splendora Wildcats on Saturday.

The victory made it two in a row for Splendora and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Furr does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Splendora, they have already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Caney Creek on the 22nd.
