Haverford won the last time they faced Upper Darby and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fords walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Royals.

Gavin McClafferty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Ryan Cassidy and Charlie Pusztay did most of the damage at the plate: Cassidy went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Pusztay went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. Those two runs gave Pusztay a new career-high. Shane Durkan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Haverford's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Upper Darby, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Haverford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Conestoga on the 7th. As for Upper Darby, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Lower Merion on the 7th.
