Softball Recap: Sycamore Wins Going Away Against Rock Falls

Sycamore never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past the Rock Falls Rockets 10-0. Considering the Spartans have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Sycamore and bumps their season record up to 19-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Rock Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Sycamore will have a chance to go back-to-back against Rock Falls: the pair will be back at it again later today.
