Salmen's loss came about despite a quality game from Destiny Bennett, who scored 13 points. The matchup was Bennett's ninth in a row with at least ten points.
This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Salmen, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Northside beat Salmen 57-45 in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northside since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
