Javarion Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Huss got the W thanks in part to Javarion Brown playing the best football he has all season. Brown rushed for 208 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.2). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Huss now has a winning record of 3-2. Brown and Huss will square off against North Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Chanyce Ford put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He made seven total tackles. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 53 yards.
The win for South Point keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Ford and South Point will take on Ashbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Gene Neely Makes It Two for Huss
The second Huss player making an appearance here is Gene Neely, and for good reason. He made 11 total tackles.
Forestview had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Neely it was a similar story. When Neely last faced the Jaguars back in October of 2023, he made 15 total tackles and snagged an interception.

Blee Posts Huge Game in 28-21 Win
South Point picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Patrick Blee. Blee did his part (and then some), rushing for 94 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 73 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Blee might have his next game, a home matchup with Ashbrook, circled on his calendar. Blee rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries the last time he and the Greenwave duked it out back in October of 2023.

Antonio Armstrong continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his eighth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least five total tackles. He forced a fumble and made 21 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
