The Woodland Wolfpack lost against the Union Grove Wolverines back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Woodland was outmatched by Union Grove on the road and fell 49-20. Woodland has struggled against Union Grove recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Jordan Brooks was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadea Smith, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Union Grove, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodland is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Ola at 1:00 p.m. on November 21st. As for Union Grove, they will take on Griffin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Griffin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 last Saturday.
