While Lakeville put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Ovid-Elsie. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Marauders. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Lakeville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Ovid-Elsie, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14-1.

Lakeville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Marauders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
