Meanwhile, Saint Francis Catholic's 11-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They blew past Cedar Creek Christian 44-20. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Saint Francis Catholic's zero-point performance the contest before.
Nash Lantinen had a dynamite game for Saint Francis Catholic, rushing for 202 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 53 yards and two touchdowns. Lantinen was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. Pedro Viana and his 87 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Saint Francis Catholic's victory.
