If the Hagerman Pirates were feeling good off their 67-36 takedown of the Twin Falls Christian Academy Warriors two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hagerman's rough 66-46 loss to Dietrich on Monday might stick with them for a while. Hagerman has not had much luck with Dietrich recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ky Kendall, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Kendall is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Johnson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Hagerman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Dietrich, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Camas County the next time they take the court. Hagerman will host Camas County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Dietrich will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
