The Chowchilla Tribe entered their tilt with the Parlier Panthers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Chowchilla breezed by the Panthers on the road to the tune of 72-40 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Chowchilla, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Chowchilla's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khaled Escheik led the charge by scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Escheik is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Deatherage, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Chowchilla has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Parlier, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Riverdale the next time they take the court. Chowchilla will head out to face the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
