The McClintock Chargers stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 81-24 win over Fairfax on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win McClintock has managed all season.
McClintock's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh McManaway, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten steals. Taimari Jones was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Vinny Rodriguez and Elijah Pablos certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Rodriguez scored 11 points along with two steals, while Pablos scored nine points along with six rebounds.
McClintock's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Fairfax, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.
