Mesa Ridge came out on top against Palmer on Tuesday thanks in part to Gabriel Montijo's efforts. Montijo struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts.

Montijo's strong effort led Mesa Ridge over Palmer and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies are a perfect 10-0 against the Terrors going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
