Adams has gone a perfect 5-0 against Samuell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Adams Cougars will challenge the Samuell Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Adams is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering North Mesquite just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Samuell's offense. They came up short against Poteet on Friday, falling 11-0. The Spartans have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Samuell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Adams, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Everything went Adams' way against Samuell in their previous matchup back in February, as Adams made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Adams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
