Even though the College Park Falcons have not done well against the Alhambra Bulldogs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. College Park came out on top against Alhambra by a score of 35-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for College Park.
When it comes to explaining why Alhambra lost, one person who can't be blamed is Beau Blau. Despite the final result, he rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 155 yards and a touchdown. Blau was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 51 yards.
College Park's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Alhambra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.
College Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Alhambra will be playing at home against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Piedmont is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
