  Clay Boedicker spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned  (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Bath saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jackson Kohlreiser, who  went 1-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Shawnee didn't have quite enough to beat Elida on Tuesday and fell  3-2.
 Bath now  has a losing record at 3-4. As for Shawnee, their loss was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-3.
 Everything went Bath's way against Shawnee when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 as Bath made off with  an  8-1 victory. Does  Bath have another victory up their sleeve, or will Shawnee turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
