Brewbaker Tech is 3-0 against Selma since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Brewbaker Tech Rams will get right back to it and host the Selma Saints at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Brewbaker Tech earned a 41-33 win over Valor Christian. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brewbaker Tech.
Brewbaker Tech's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jillian Baine, who scored 12 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Martin, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and seven assists.
Meanwhile, Selma put another one in the bag last Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Demopolis, posting a 53-22 victory on the road. Selma has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.
Brewbaker Tech's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Selma, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Brewbaker Tech strolled past Selma when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 48-33. Does Brewbaker Tech have another victory up their sleeve, or will Selma turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
