After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Del Norte, McKinleyville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hoopa Valley Warriors with a sharp 11-1 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

McKinleyville's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Hoopa Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Coming up, McKinleyville will face off against Arcata at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.28 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hoopa Valley, they will head out on the road to take on St. Bernard's at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
