After taking the lead on a
Dylan Osborne touchdown pass to
Louis Vecchio, the Spartans went into halftime with a 14-7 lead. The Knights took the lead for good with a touchdown run by
Bobby Okereke in the third quarter.
With the win Foothill extended its winning streak to five games. Foothill defeated El Modena 20-0 last week.
FHS went into the matchup giving up only 14.0 points per game. Villa Park's 14 points were below its season average of 18.5 per game.
The victory avenged Foothill's close 25-21 loss to VP last season.
Villa Park (3-2) will play a Century game against El Dorado next week, while Foothill (5-1) will take on El Dorado also in a Century game.
